California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA"). It describes the rights California residents have regarding their personal information and how to exercise them.

Information we collect

The categories of personal information we may collect are described in our Privacy Policy and can include identifiers (such as name, email, and phone number), internet activity (such as pages viewed), approximate geolocation, and the details you provide about your legal matter. We collect this information to operate our directory and connect you with attorneys.

We do not sell your personal information

Your California rights

• Right to know — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
• Right to delete — request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
• Right to correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out — opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
• Right to limit — limit the use of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to provide the service.
• Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

How to exercise your rights

To make a request, email us at hello@lawmillion.us with "California Privacy Request" in the subject line, or use our contact page. We will verify your request by confirming information we already hold about you before responding. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to verification.

Response timing

We aim to acknowledge requests within 10 business days and to respond substantively within 45 days, extending once by another 45 days where reasonably necessary and permitted by law.
